A Letter From the Developer
Welcome to the village!
Hands blur through the signs. The air goes hot. A fireball the size of a house leaves your chest and the treeline stops existing.
Where do you start? — as some Genin throwing kunai and struggling with a clone. Where you end up is 200 feet of chakra armor standing over a village, splitting a mountain because somebody pissed you off. Tearing a hole through space and stepping out on the other side of the world or using that same jutsu to teleport an opponent's incoming Fire Style: Fire Ball jutsu to another dimension before it hits you. Become a shinobi unleashed.

80+ jutsu, E-rank to Apocalypse. Nobody hands them to you. You claw every one of them out of this world.
And it's a real world you're clawing through. 35 by 35 miles of it, and every shinobi you pass is a person. Your Kage is a person — won the monthly tournament, holds the seat, appoints Jonin, runs the Chunin exams, sets taxes, declares war and ends it. The Jonin who sends you on your first escort mission is a person. So is the merchant you're guarding. So is whoever's waiting in the treeline to take his cart, because he watched your route for a week and picked the bend in the road where nobody would hear it.
Nothing out here is scripted. Villages rise because players build them. Wars start because a person decided. You rank up because your village needed somebody and you showed up — not because a bar filled.
My name's Payton. I grew up on ninja stories about a nobody clawing up to shake the world, and I spent years waiting for somebody to build a real one. Nobody did. So — 15 hours a day, almost every day, 5 years, about $100,000 of my own money. Every jutsu, every weapon, every rock out there came out of one chair.
It stays free. Forever. Microtransactions will be cosmetic only — nothing you buy will ever beat somebody who put in the work. And this game will not be easy on you. You'll die. World-ending jutsu won't come cheap, and that's the whole point. Power handed to you isn't worth having. But the day you tear one open, it's yours.
Here's the thing nobody tells you about most games: your weapons are lying to you. That kunai isn't a kunai — it's a line the engine draws to see what it touches. It doesn't spin. It doesn't drop. It doesn't exist. And you can feel it, even when you can't name it.
Mine are real. Every one has weight and spin and a real edge, and gravity is pulling on it the whole way. Throw at a wall and it sticks or skips depending on the angle you gave it. Throw two and they hit each other mid-air — and whatever happens next isn't a scripted outcome, it's just physics doing what physics does. Which means somebody out there is going to bounce a kunai off another kunai and bury it in a guy who was standing behind a tree, and I will never be able to take credit for that. He found it. It was always in there. He just looked harder than everyone else.
Nobody asked me for that. It would've been faster to fake it, and 99% of players would never have known. But that 1% is the entire reason worlds feel alive — the person who tries the stupid thing and finds out the game was built honestly enough to let it work.
Jutsu are getting the same treatment. Fire meeting wind isn't going to play a canned animation — the wind will feed the fire. Lightning will find water and go where the water goes. Earth will actually stop things. Build a world out of real rules instead of a script and it starts doing things you never programmed. That's the game. I want a really bad ass open world shinobi game and I'm going to make it happen.

Fuck yes! You actually clicked it. You found an easter egg! Your power is unimaginable. Anything you can think of in your head you can make a reality. You have all the information you need inside you. You know what you need to do. Unlock yourself. Trancend the barriers and conditioning in your mind and obtain mother fucking greatness and surround yourself in opulence shinobi. I know you can do it. You can feel it can't you? That exploding feeling inside. You know you were meant for greatness. Go get it. It's all yours. You are the only thing holding you back from everything you desire. I'm glad we had this talk. I hope you wake up and stop accepting less than you deserve. I'll meet you at the top.
