Technical Advisory — Store Synchronization

Greetings,

As we continue to roll out the infrastructure for Update 0.4.33, we want to provide clarity regarding a known discrepancy between the in-game store interface and our backend data centers.

Server-Side Authority and Pricing

With our transition to a fully server-side authoritative inventory system, the “source of truth” for all item data now resides in our sever backend. We have recently performed a global rebalancing of item ranks and costs to better reflect the new economy. However, while the server has been updated, some local game clients may still display legacy pricing in the UI.

The “Insufficient Funds” Issue

Players may encounter an “Insufficient Funds” error when attempting to purchase items that appear affordable in Copper. This occurs when an item has been promoted to a higher rank—such as the Jinsoku Blade, which has moved from Epic (600 Copper) to Legendary (25 Gold). Because the server handles the transaction logic, it will reject the purchase if the player does not meet the updated Gold requirement, regardless of what the local UI displays.

Next Steps

We are currently finalizing a client-side patch that will synchronize the store UI with the data center in real-time. Until this patch is live, please be aware that high-tier and Legendary items will require the updated Gold values for successful purchase.

We appreciate your patience as we bridge the final gap in this massive architectural shift.
